Clare Manale is the owner of Lone Wolf Roofing, but the family’s connection to roofing and construction started long before the Lone Wolf name. The Manale family’s roots in the industry go back to 1993, when the family was already working in construction and taking on roofing work in Southeast Louisiana.
Years later, that family background became part of the business known as Lone Wolf Renovations. Clare eventually acquired the Lone Wolf business and rebuilt it into Lone Wolf Roofing, with a clearer focus on roofing and exterior improvements. Today, she runs the woman-owned, family-owned company alongside her husband, Dylan Manale, who brings hands-on roofing and construction experience to the business.
Clare brought a different professional background into that family history. She grew up in the Metairie area, graduated from Mount Carmel Academy, studied nursing at LSU, and became a Certified Registered Nurse. She continues to practice nursing part-time while leading Lone Wolf Roofing.
Her healthcare experience has had a major influence on how she runs the company. Nursing requires organization, attention to detail, clear communication, and accountability when people are depending on you. Clare brought those same standards into roofing, from how customers are kept informed to how projects are organized and followed through.
Clare is also a mother of three sons, Eli, Drew, and Wyatt. For her, Lone Wolf Roofing is more than a roofing company. It’s a family business built on the Manale family’s long history in roofing and construction, while creating something the next generation can be proud of.

Under Louisiana Regulation 136, issued by the Louisiana Department of Insurance in April 2026, insurers must provide a discount on the hurricane portion of qualifying policies when a home has an official FORTIFIED designation. The rule applies to policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2027.
The amount of the discount depends on where the property is located and whether it has a FORTIFIED Roof, Silver, or Gold designation. South Louisiana is in the state’s highest discount tier because of its hurricane exposure, with discounts under the regulation ranging from 16% to 49% depending on the property, designation level, and insurance policy.
Louisiana homeowners may also have access to financial help for a qualifying FORTIFIED upgrade. The Louisiana Fortify Homes Program has offered grants of up to $10,000, while a separate state income tax credit may also provide up to $10,000 for qualifying work. Grant funding is offered through periodic funding rounds and a lottery system, so availability should be confirmed before including it in your project budget.
