With the existing materials removed, the exterior wall sheathing and framing were inspected before the new system was installed.

James Hardie trim was installed around windows, doors, corners, and transitions to create crisp lines and a finished architectural appearance. Exterior-grade sealant was applied at joints, penetrations, and trim connections, while exposed nail heads were sealed and touched up for a clean final result.
The ColorPlus® finish gives the home a consistent, polished color treatment without relying on a field-applied paint finish. Combined with the smooth-profile siding and coordinated trim, the exterior now has a refined look that suits the home and its Mandeville setting.
Moisture Protection Behind the Siding
A durable exterior starts behind the visible finish. Lone Wolf Roofing installed a house-wrap weather barrier to help protect the wall assembly from moisture and air intrusion. New fiber-cement soffit panels were installed along the eaves, with vented soffit used where needed to support attic ventilation. James Hardie fascia boards were installed over the existing sub-fascia and secured with corrosion-resistant fasteners. Transitions and joints were aligned and sealed, and metal drip edge or flashing was installed where needed to help guide water away from the roofline.

New 6-Inch Seamless Gutters
To complete the exterior water-management system, Lone Wolf Roofing removed the old gutters and installed new 6-inch seamless gutters. The gutters were properly pitched for drainage and secured with hangers spaced every 18 inches to provide dependable support along the roofline.
New downspouts and extensions direct water away from the foundation, while sealed joints and end caps create a clean, finished appearance. The new gutter system complements the updated fascia and helps protect the siding, landscaping, and foundation from uncontrolled roof runoff.
Rear Porch Improvements
The rear porch received custom finishing details that elevate the outdoor living space. Lone Wolf Roofing installed a beaded-board ceiling beneath the porch roof and finished it with a customer-selected Benjamin Moore stain color.
A 6-by-6 cedar post wrap with a decorative base and cap was added to create a stronger architectural focal point. The post was stained to coordinate with the porch ceiling, tying the materials together for a warm, finished look.
